Call for Papers for Special Volume of the Journal of Cleaner Production
A Resilient and Sustainable World: Contributions from Cleaner Production, Circular Economy and Eco-innovation

The guest editors of the VSI of the JCLP, “A Resilient and Sustainable World: Contributions from Cleaner Production, Circular Economy and Eco-innovation," welcome articles aiming at emphasizing and highlighting the roles of Cleaner Production, Circular Economy, and eco-innovation in contributing broadly to the resilience of production systems and sustainable development. The focus of this VSI is on what cross-cutting insights might be gained from research to increase the energy/materials circularity and the contribution of the eco-innovation to produce a logical body of knowledge that may lead to increased resilience and a sustainable Planet.

Supporting Journals
JCLP

Journal of Cleaner Production is an international, transdisciplinary journal focusing on Cleaner Production, Environmental, and Sustainability research and practice. Through our published articles, we aim at helping societies become more sustainable.

'Cleaner Production' is a concept that aims at preventing the production of waste, while increasing efficiencies in the uses of energy, water, resources, and human capital.

The Journal of Cleaner Production serves as a platform for addressing and discussing theoretical and practical cleaner production, encompassing environmental, and sustainability issues in corporations, governments, education institutions, regions, and societies.

CWS

Cleaner Waste Systems publishes current research on waste management solutions and policies, education, and economic and environmental assessments and aims to offer an interdisciplinary overview of recent research encouraging discussion and debate on how to achieve Cleaner Waste Systems from government, business, academia and society.

The journal provides a key platform for publishing high-quality interdisciplinary papers on research and practice in the field, also including theoretical theses and innovative strategies as well as case-studies from practitioners. It looks outstandingly at the patterns of waste treatment to help identify more-sustainable solutions for waste systems and influence the so-called "end of life" of many products and flows. Though open to all scientific backgrounds, Cleaner Waste Systems will privilege contributions aimed at tackling the problem of waste generation and treatment under a systemic and relational viewpoint rather than devoted to a single molecule, process, product type, technology, in isolation from the context.
