Throughout his career he has worked in rural development and focusing on social justice. He studied Tropical Agriculture at the University of Florence and tested his skills working in rural areas in Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Colombia, Albania where he applied technical tools for rapid rural assessments and program design and implementation. He had additional training in Perugia, Wye, Rome, Wageningen. Provides support in individual and collective cases of human rights violations related to lands and territories. It facilitates the process to bring confrontational positions back into constructive political processes for the construction of people-centered land policies. It currently coordinates a global network of 152 member organizations.
