The first step consists of a preliminary evaluation by the directive committee, which examines whether the work adheres to the scope of the event and meets the requirements of formatting and submission.

 

The second step consists in a double blind peer review, with the contribution for the Scientific Committee of Advances in Cleaner Production Network (ACPN).

 

The papers will be evaluated by two referees according to the following criteria:

- Originality
- Classification in relation to the state of art
- Contribution
- Methodological Rigor
- Writing quality

Each criteria may receive one of the following concepts, which will be converted to numerical values:

- Very Poor = 02
- Poor = 04
- Regular = 06
- Good = 08
- Very Good = 10

The referees can include comments in order to help authors to improve their manuscripts.

 

Authors MAY BE NOTIFIED WITH:

- ACCEPTED (average score 7 or higher)
- REJECTED (average score below 7)

 

Special Mention

The papers presented at the 12th International Workshop on Advances in Cleaner Production, which deserve special mention in each oral presentation session, will receive the Special Mention Award. The Special Mention certificates will be delivered to the authors in the event's closing cocktail.
