Ubiratã Tortato has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business from the Federal University of Paraná and a PhD in Production Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2006). He was a visiting researcher at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and the Università degli Studi di Ferrara in Italy. He is currently a Full Professor in the graduate programs in Business-PPAD and in Industrial and Systems Engineering-PPGEPS, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná-PUCPR.

 

He has worked at PUCPR since 1999. He is leader of the Research Group on Sustainability in Organizations-GPSO (linkedin.com/in/gpso). He is assistant editor at Discovery Sustainability. He has more than 150 articles published in journals and events. He has published four books on the topic of sustainability. He has experience in business and works in research on the following topics: sustainability, circular economy, sustainable supply chains, ESG, digital transformation, eco-efficiency and sustainable universities and organizations.
