Conference Title: Enhancing Decarbonisation in a Hard-to-Abate Industry: Cemento Yura - Peru’s most Sustainable Cement [abstract]

 

Strategic manager and relationship builder focused on sustainability and social innovation. He currently serves as Superintendent of Sustainability at Cemento Yura. He has more than twelve years of experience leading cross-sector partnerships and stakeholder engagement initiatives involving leading organizations from the business, academic, NGO, and multilateral sectors.

 

He has served as a lecturer at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and at Universidad Católica San Pablo in Arequipa. He has also contributed to the development of numerous reports for various international organizations.

 

He holds a Master’s degree in Research and Innovation in Higher Education from the universities of Krems and Osnabrück, as well as a Master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Barcelona. He earned his law degree from Universidad Católica San Pablo. He is a member of the Peruvian sustainability leadership network L+1
